Temporary Protection:Black Vanish painting, Light Oiling.

High-Durability Coating:Hot-Dipped Galvanized (HDG) – Zinc coating up to500g/m².

Advanced Anti-Corrosion:3PE (Three-Layer Polyethylene), FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy), or 3PP coating for underground burial.

5. Packaging & Logistics Excellence

We understand that long-distance international shipping requires superior packaging to prevent damage:

Hexagonal Bundling:Small diameter pipes are bundled with high-tensile steel strips and heavy-duty nylon lifting slings.

End Protection:Heavy-duty plastic caps or metal ring protectors to safeguard bevels and threads.

Sea-Worthy Marking:Each pipe is stenciled withHeat No., Size, Grade, Standard, and Manufacturer Logo(Customized marking supported).

Loading Precautions:

Use of wooden dunnage and rubber separators to prevent steel-on-steel friction.

Rigid bracing and lashing within containers or bulk vessels to prevent shifting during transit.

7.Strategic Application Sectors

ERW steel pipes are engineered to deliver reliability across diverse and demanding environments:

a. Energy & Hydrocarbon Infrastructure

A primary solution for the gathering and transmission of crude oil, natural gas, and refined petroleum. ERW pipes are highly valued in the energy sector for their balance of high tensile strength and economic viability.

b. Public Utilities & Water Management

Essential for large-scale municipal water supply systems, irrigation networks, and sewage treatment facilities. Their compatibility with various anti-corrosion linings ensures a long service life in underground environments.

c. Structural Engineering & Construction

Extensively utilized in the construction of airports, stadiums, and high-rise buildings as structural hollow sections (HSS). They offer excellent load-bearing capabilities for piling, trusses, and decorative architectural frameworks.

d. Industrial & Fire Safety Systems

The industry standard for fire-protection sprinkler systems and low-pressure steam/air conveyance. Their durability ensures system integrity during critical emergency responses.

e. Mechanical & Automotive Manufacturing

High-precision ERW tubes are vital components in the automotive industry (chassis and steering columns) and the manufacturing of heavy-duty machinery, rollers, and conveyor systems.

ERW Pipe Production Process

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do you guarantee the weld quality of ERW steel pipe before shipment?

We implement internal quality control from raw material review to final shipment release. For orders related to water lines, structural applications, scaffolding, and medium-diameter pipeline projects, buyers usually expect the product to match both the application and the supporting ERW steel pipe, ASTM A53, API 5L ERW pipe, and UT inspection on the weld seam requirements.

2. Do you provide UT records, hydro test results, and MTC for ERW steel pipe?

Yes. We can provide Mill Test Certificates according to EN 10204 3.1, and 3.2 can be arranged when required. Third-party inspection by agencies such as SGS, BV, or ABS can also be accepted before shipment.

3. How do you protect ERW pipe ends and bevels during truck transport and sea freight?

We use export-oriented packing and loading methods based on the product type, including end protection, stable bundling or blocking, waterproof wrapping where needed, and careful loading control. The goal is to reduce rust, scratches, bevel damage, face damage, coating damage, thread damage, or handling impact during domestic transport and long sea shipment.

4. Is ERW steel pipe normally used for water lines and structural steel applications?

This product is commonly supplied for water lines, structural applications, scaffolding, and medium-diameter pipeline projects, with buyer demand often tied to ERW steel pipe, ASTM A53, API 5L ERW pipe, and UT inspection on the weld seam.
