A batch summary without pipe identification may not support traceability. Where the project permits lot-based records, the report should still define the lot and show how released pipe numbers are assigned to it.
The NDT package should separate procedure approval from production results. The buyer must be able to see which shop welds were examined, by which method and extent, using which acceptance criteria, and how every relevant indication or repair was closed.

One method may not apply to every weld type or project condition — shop seam welds, circumferential shop welds, fittings, attachments, and field joints can carry different requirements under the project specification. |
AWWA's current standards list identifies C205-24 for shop-applied cement-mortar lining and coating, C210-24 for liquid-epoxy coatings and linings, and C213-22 for fusion-bonded epoxy coatings and linings. Do not combine all coating evidence into a single generic certificate. Batch numbers, application dates, and pipe IDs should connect the approved material to the coated pipe, and any field-joint or repair system that differs from the shop system needs its own approved procedure and acceptance records.
Every deviation should identify the affected requirement, proposed alternative, technical effect, and approving authority before implementation. Every nonconformance should identify the affected pipe or lot, disposition, approved repair procedure, reinspection, and final status. A verbal agreement or an unreferenced note on the final report is not a controlled closeout.
